The chest has a long wooden body, a flat to slightly domed lid, a front lock and a side metal handle. The front carries the white marking “F. KOBEDA”, and a metal handle is visible on the right side. The black paint is heavily worn, with scratches, exposed wood on the lid, patina and damaged edges.
