The long textile carpet runner has a burgundy field with a row of alternating octagonal and floral motifs in dark blue, cream and pink. The wide borders above and below the central band are filled with small geometric ornaments. The edges are frayed and wavy in places, the surface is faded, and it is lightly scuffed near the right side.
