Red rug with a small pattern

The rectangular textile rug has a red central field with a regular pattern of small light diamond and floral motifs. The shorter sides have wide cream borders with dense plant-like ornaments, while narrow dark edgings run around the perimeter. The edges are straight and well preserved, and the surface has slight variations in shade in places.
