The long textile runner has a red field with a dense repeating pattern of small diamonds and stylised flowers. Wide cream and brown borders with leafy and floral ornaments run along both long sides, finished with narrow dark edging. The edges are slightly wavy and worn in places, and the surface has subtle changes of shade.
