Rose rug with a large diamond motif

The large rectangular textile rug has a rose central field with dense floral and leafy motifs and a dark diamond medallion in the centre. The field is surrounded by a wide dark-blue border with repeating diamonds, flowers and multicoloured edgings. The edges are wavy and frayed in places, with changes of shade and wear visible across the surface.
