Brown plate with picture

The shallow round plate has a glossy brown surface, a raised rim and a dark figurative picture in the centre. The decoration is partly obscured by patina, and a thin lighter rim is visible around the edge. The surface is heavily aged and scratched, with scuffs in the picture and along the rim.
