Miniature cannon on a wooden carriage
A heavy howitzer of 88 mm calibre with a short, thick-walled barrel on a massive wooden carriage frame. The wheels are built from wooden segments bound by iron hoops around a forged hub and axle, and a small wooden box is fixed at the rear. The wood is dark and grooved, and the wheel hoops carry a continuous rusty patina.
