Miniature cannon on a wooden carriage
A fortress cannon of 42 mm calibre with a short barrel fixed to an angled timber frame carrying an elevating mechanism for adjusting the firing height. The frame stands on four small castors and is braced by diagonal struts and metal pins. The timber is brown with a strong wood grain, and the joints are dark from handling.
