Miniature cannon on a wooden carriage
A bombard of 88 mm calibre with a short barrel seated in a wooden cradle box on two tall wheels bound with iron strips. The box carries the metal linkage of an elevating gear for adjusting the barrel's angle, and a long straight trail continues from the rear. The box and wheel wood are dark-stained and weathered, and the iron strips are dull and rusted in places.
