Pair of roe-deer trophies on carved plaques

Two roe-deer trophies on matching carved plaques with an oak-leaf motif around the shield. The antlers differ in length and the darkness of their tips, and the burrs on both are knobbly. The plaque wood is dark-stained with a uniform sheen, and the skull bone is yellowed.
