Trophy on a carved plaque with oak leaves

A roe-deer skull with a pair of antlers fixed to a plain shield-shaped plaque in dark-stained wood. The antlers are short with a few points, ringed by a burr at the base. The skull bone is yellowed, and the plaque wood has a matte surface with small scratches.
