Trophy on a carved plaque with oak leaves

A roe-deer skull with two tall curved antlers fixed to a dark wooden shield-shaped plaque. The burrs at the base of the antlers are knobbly, while the tips are smooth and paler. The plaque has a glossy stained finish, and the skull is yellowed with fine cracks.
